MOUNTAIN STATES CUP CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES RETURNS FOR 2009
Bigfoot Production is already gearing up to bring back a full-season of the best mountain bike racing in the country for 2009. Our schedule is nearly finalized and will be posted soon. We'll be returning to premier Rocky Mountain destinations including Snowmass Village, Crested Butte, SolVista Basin, Fruita, Nathrop and more! We are also hosting the 2009 USAC Mountain Bike National Championships July 16-19 at SolVista Basin in Granby, Colorado. With a full line-up including short track, cross country, dual slalom, downhill and super-D, this national event is promised to take national racing to a whole new altitude. The season pass will be available again for the 2009 season. Information and pricing will be posted soon. STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS AND SERIES CHAMPIONSHIPS JERSEYS COMING IN DECEMBER
If you're still waiting for your State Championship or Series Championship jersey, don't worry, we haven't forgotten about you! We received our final orders from participants the first week of October, then shipped it off to PrimalWear. Right now they are being printed and sewed. Once they return here, they will be shipped out to all of you sometime in December. Perfect for Christmas, and to show off at your winter training camp . . . .

In Memorium: Mike Janelle, 1967-2007 If you've been racing XC in the Rockies over the past decade chances are pretty good that you crossed paths with Mike Janelle at one time or another. For the past several years he'd been a staple on the Tokyo Joes squad. Shortly after Thanksgiving last year Mike was taken from his wife Maribel and then unborn son, Lil' Mike. The folks at Tokyo Joes have set up a website where you can make a donation to help Mike's family get through the next few years. In return, you'll get an education about a man who lived life like it was meant to be lived. He was a sportsmanlike competitor, a friend to those in need and a beacon of hope to those mired in petty workday issues or seemingly endless 80-hour weeks at a desk. For your small donation you'll also get some great swag - stuff that serves as a reminder to work to live, not the other way around. Please, visit www.LIVELIKEMIKE.org - even if only to remind yourself of how precious each day really is. |
